What's a guy to do on a 98 degree day? Matthew Perry went straight to the Arclight Theater in Hollywood to cool off with "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." This is a theater where celebrities feel comfortable going to the movies alone. And Matt happens to be looking the hottest we've seen him look in a long time.

Almost two years ago Matthew Perry started dating dating Mean Girls actress Lizzy Caplan, after they were introduced by Matt LeBlanc. (She's thirteen years younger than he is.) They both went their separate ways, but recently rekindled their relationship. Lizzy is a cute brunette and we saw them together at the Arclight theater. Insiders say it's more of a "friendship with benefits" and they both see other people. But whatever it is, it's been going on under the radar for a few months.

We have pointed out before how much Matthew Perry is starting to resemble Joey Buttafuoco. This recent photo illustrates just how right on we are. Check out that profile. Maybe that's why he resists having his picture taken.

Meg Ryan is certainly keeping herself busy. Just last week she was seen in New York with Hank Azaria, and last night she rendezvoused with Matthew Perry. The Swell Season was playing at the Wiltern theater and Matt and Meg were spotted arriving separately. We're told they sat together inside the theater, and then they departed separately. Maybe Meg doesn't want her boyfriends to know about each other.

We can't help but notice that in this photo of Matthew Perry, he looks like he's rushing off to an audition to star in The Joey Buttafuoco Story. And we bet he'd get the part! He COULD pass for a young Joey. Too bad the story has already been done to death.
SOS for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip! Matthew Perry is frantic because the big budget heavily promoted drama series that NBC expected to be a shoo-in, is floundering in the ratings. In fact, it seems to be sabotaging the whole night for the network. Matthew wants to save the show and he's turned to his Friends costars for help. He's begging Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow to guest star. So far no takers! No one has really turned him down flat, they're just putting him off, saying they're busy and maybe later. Looks like nobody wants to jump on a sinking ship.
