When you invite the exquisite Dita Von Teese to a party or event, you get more than your money's worth. Every public appearance counts for her and Dita dresses lavishly and appropriately. It's a huge compliment to the host. She makes any event seem more important just because she dresses up for it. No sloppy jeans or flip flops or baseball caps for her. And she's always friendly and smiles and poses for the cameras. Dita is one of a kind.

On Sunday, Victoria Beckham flew from LAX to Newark for meetings about her fashion business in New York and we learned a lot about her flying habits. She arrived at the airport immaculately attired in a form fitting little outfit and very high heels. (Always camera ready!)
When she and several companions boarded the plane she immediately changed into sweats and sneakers for the flight. (THAT'S how she looks so fresh when she arrives!) She sat in first class with her hairdresser (possibly named Rudolfo) and the other people she was with sat in coach. Flight attendants were wary at first, but Posh was very friendly and talkative and completely won them over. (They were all drooling over her amazing red ostrich handbag.)
Victoria only had water and Diet Pepsi during the 5 and ½ hour trip - NO food. During dinner Victoria was back in coach gabbing with her companions and she sent a bodyguard up to her seat to eat her meal. She chatted with everyone seated around her both in coach and first class. Flight attendants and other travelers were surprised at her accessibility and good humor. Before the flight ended Victoria dressed up in her tight clothes and high heels and disembarked looking cool and collected.

Bristol Farms food emporium in Beverly Hills attracts a fair share of celebrities and employees there have definite opinions about their famous customers. Among their favorite shoppers are Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry, and Jessica Alba and Cash Warren - they're always friendly and polite. By far, the LEAST popular celebrity who shops the store is Heidi Klum. She is stunning to look at, but demanding and rude to the staff. Sources say Heidi butts to the front of lines and browbeats the clerks trying to help her. Yes, beautiful Heidi is described as "pushy and unpleasant." But here's a surprise: the clerks' absolute FAVORITE celebrities are Kimora Lee Simmons and her boyfriend Djimon Hounsou!
"They're sweet and talk to everyone, and they make out while they're waiting in line at the deli."

Paris Hilton was hired to do a photo layout for German Vanity Fair last week and we got inside scoop on how the shoot went. It took place in a luxurious private home in LA. She was scheduled to be shot at 9 AM with a group of kids, but Paris showed up 45 minutes late and insisted on sleeping in her car for 45 more minutes before walking in, carrying her dog, wearing her bathrobe and slippers. She insisted on smoking pot ALL day and the homeowner had to request that she do it in the yard, NOT in the house. The bedroom that served as Paris's dressing room was covered with blankets to protect the carpet and bed. "She was really in a daze and didn't communicate with anyone - not even the photographer who had worked with her before." When Paris left, the room she had used was a mess. The blankets were cast aside and there were blonde hair extensions all over the carpet, food spilled everywhere, rings on the tables, and her dog peed on the bed!

Anderson Cooper flew his usual route from NYC to LA to work at CNN and the flight was crowded but he managed to get a first class seat. During the flight he happened to notice attendants talking to a very pregnant woman in coach who was obviously uncomfortable in the tight quarters. There were no empty seats to move her to so the chivalrous journalist offered to switch seats with her even though she was in coach. The woman was grateful and flabbergasted. Cooper proceeded to chat politely with his seatmates and he was friendly with the children. He even played with a toddler in the aisle for a few minutes before the flight attendant advised him to take his seat. A few passengers good-naturedly booed her.
