She didn't buy it. Audi gave her the car to drive for three months free to drum up excitement and publicity for the vehicle. Actually, Don Cheadle had the car before Lauren got it. If Lauren gets photographed in the car a lot, she gets to keep it LONGER, and that's why she's flaunting it.

The peculiar in-breeding and partner changing that goes on with those Hills people continues to baffle us. Fame seeking Brody Jenner wormed his way onto the show and now he's pulling in his buddy Frankie Delgado. Everybody 's asking WHO this Frankie is, who's suddenly everywhere- - thanks to our readers we have learned that he's NOT the Frank Delgado who's in the Deftones band. He's an event planner whose job is to lure pretty girls into clubs. And Lauren Conrad has been keeping company with him while cameras record every move they make. The couple seems to want us to think they're an item, but insiders say it's a fake romance - they're only friends who both love having their picture taken.

Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge - best girlfriends from The Hills, showed up at Area last night. They always have a lot to talk about - their mutual loathing of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, although Audrina isn't as demonstrative as LC. The question remains: who is the biggest manipulator- LC or Spencer? As for Audrina- what's that red band on your wrist? You haven't joined the Madonna cult, have you?
Lauren Conrad's good girl image is already tarnished and her sex tape hasn't even come out yet. The Hills star adamantly denied that any such tape exists to Us Magazine but nobody seems to believe her. Lauren's exboyfriend Jason Wahler is supposedly shopping the tape around and wants to make a deal before he goes to jail. (60 days for underage drinking, fighting etc.) If he doesn't find a buyer, the tape will probably end up on the internet. Meanwhile Lauren and her PR people are frantically spinning - if that tape surfaces she is both a pornstar and a liar overnight. Significantly, Lauren is currently a student at LA's FIDM (The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) where she enjoys celebrity status. They were very proud of her glamorous life and she was prominently featured in their recruitment ads. UNTIL recently. All references to Lauren are being hastily removed. Let's hope the school's OTHER celebrity, Nick Verrios (Project Runway) doesn't have a sex tape.
