Larry Birkhead's thirst for attention hasn't yet been quenched. He went shopping on Robertson Blvd this weekend with Dannielynn and was immediately surrounded by paparazzi. He dragged Danniellyn - who's getting cuter by the minute - in and out of several stores including Kitson Kids. We can't decide if she looks more like her mom Anna Nicole Smith - or her father Larry.

We have to admit Larry Birkhead does have his gay face on in this photo. Is he or isn't he? On one hand, there have been gay rumors about him since day one and some guy sold a story claiming to have had a tryst with him. On the other hand, Larry's former lawyer Debra Opri claimed he was a slob and lived in a messy apartment. THAT doesn't sound gay. Actually his sexual preference doesn't matter at all. He was straight enough to have a baby with Anna Nicole Smith, and that's what matters.
Debra Opri filed legal papers this week to compel arbitration between her and her former client Larry Birkhead. (She says he owes her money - he claims she is withholding HIS money.) Naturally she spelled out every personal detail she knew about her client that could possibly embarrass him. We guess by revealing all these things in a legal document she doesn't feel responsible for lawyer-client confidentiality. Opri claims Larry earned two million dollars selling baby photos to a photo agency and not only refused to pay her, but refused to pay his lawyers in the Bahamas. She says she had to prepare Larry's one bedroom apartment in Burbank so it would pass inspection by social workers before he was given custody of Dannielynn. Opri says the place was filthy and "unfit for an adult, much less a child." She had people clean it up, buy towels and sheets and childproof the place. Most interesting was the fact that Opri says a mystery roommate named "Byron" was living at Larry's place. When Opri told Larry this Byron would have to pass a background check and be fingerprinted before going near the baby, Larry moved him out and would never mention him again. Opri accused Larry of conniving with Howard K Stern behind her back and described him as having "mood swings." She said Larry used to surf the internet for stories about himself and if they were unflattering, he'd call Howard for advice on what to do. It adds up to around forty eight pages of personal insults and it's shaping up to be an entertaining legal battle.
We just got a look at Larry Birkhead's lawsuit papers and we're FLOORED. Larry's charges against his former attorney Debra Opri make her truly look like THE LAWYER FROM HELL. Larry says an MSNBC reporter hooked him up with Debra who said she was a "family law expert" and offered to take his case for free to enhance her reputation. Larry says after he hired Debra, she immediately leaked confidential information to the same reporter. Debra hired a publicist who pumped out press releases about HER every day. Larry claims Debra did numerous TV appearances talking about the case and he had to warn her not to badmouth his baby's mother Anna Nicole Smith. He says she negotiated a deal for $1050,000 for him (with an unnamed magazine or TV show) and when the first installment of $865,000 was paid, it went right into DEBRA'S account. Birkhead asked her, out of decorum and respect, NOT to attend Anna Nicole's funeral, but Debra DID, and she made a big deal out of blabbing about his business matters. Birkhead also claims Debra started a "Save Dannielynn" fund and collected donations to help pay legal fees and all donations went into HER account. When Larry demanded his $865,000 numerous times, Debra forked over $200,000 and no more. Larry says THAT'S why he fired her - he wants his money. Debra promptly announced that she QUIT and billed him for over $620,000. THIS will be an interesting legal battle. If Larry's right, Debra sounds like the sleaziest lawyer alive - let's hope Birkhead has learned that you get what you pay for.
