Our provocative friend Michael Musto, of The Village Voice, didn't let Lance Bass off the hook easy at Lance's book party in New York. He asked all the gay questions. Lance's book Out of Sync documents his life of furtively covering up his sexuality - especially while he was in the boy band 'NSYNC. His bandmates used to fix him up on dates that never worked out. Lance says he was relieved one night when his best friend Joey Fatone found him at a party with his boyfriend sitting on his lap. He confessed everything. Lance only wishes he'd come out sooner.
Lance Bass was a surprise guest at Constantine's album release party at Stereo in New York. Lance is turning into the "surprise guest" that everybody wants. We ran into him at Kathy Griffin's Christmas soiree and his smiley face popped up in the movie "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" to the audience's screaming delight. Apparently he and Constantine have been friends for awhile.

Here's Lance Bass, looking kinda happy, arriving at Parc last night with a good looking stranger. We like Lance and hope his cheating exboyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl see this and realizes there IS life after Reichen. In fact, hasn't Reichen sort of dropped off the map? Without Lance, nobody seems to care about him any more.

Just in case you were wondering....Lance Bass and his boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl are still a couple to be reckoned with. Rumors of another split spread in Sundance when Lance appeared alone, but Reichen joined him in public over the weekend. They were seen at the Motorola party Saturday night and last night they attended a screening of the much talked about gay themed movie Save Me that stars and was produced by Lance's pals Chad Allen and Robert Gant from Queer as Folk. Leichen reportedly had his arm around Lance through the whole movie.

Does Lance Bass know his on-again off-again boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl is kissing guys in the Sunset Plaza parking lot? Hollywood busybodies have been wondering if Lance and Amazing Race winner Reichen are actually still an item - since the holidays they've both been operating somewhat under the gay-dar. Of course the situation pictured above is probably be just another insincere Hollywood kiss between business associates. We just heard Lance IS still keeping company with Reichen - they were seen together Monday night at Citizen Smith.
Little did Demi Moore know what she would start with her 1996 movie Striptease. The film bombed but thanks to Hollywood, the stripper pole became an object of desire. Especially for women who want to get in shape AND become more seductive. Pamela Anderson installed a pole in her house and nightclubs like On the Rox followed suit. (Even guys like Lance Bass have taken a twirl on THAT one.) Upscale gyms all over LA installed poles for their strip classes for girls like Carmen Electra. The last straw was a shopping website (Tesco Direct) in the UK that added a stripper pole to the Toys and Games section of their website. For $75 you could buy your child an adjustable chrome stripper pole and garter and CD combo, promoted with the motto "Unleash the sex kitten inside." Parents went BONKERS and got the offensive item removed from the site. We wonder what's next - a stripper pole in the school gym?
Our esteemed colleague Perez Hilton has been gleefully documenting the close personal relationship of 'N Sync bandboy Lance Bass and The Amazing Race's openly gay winner Reichen Lehmkuhl -much to Lance's aggravation. The two dudes go out of their way NOT to be photographed together - especially during their Provincetown vacation. We hear they actually have a good REASON for wanting to keep their male romance under cover - according to an insider, this power couple is shopping around a reality series about their lives - and the big selling point is Lance finally coming out of the closet! So whatever you do, don't spoil the surprise!
