Photo Credit: Splash NewsIs Madonna's red string letting her down again? (The Kabbalah bracelet is supposed to ward off bad luck.) She's wearing an elastic bandage on her ankle that indicates some kind of injury. Bad timing so close to her concert tour. It must be painful because she arrived at the Kabbalah center in New York and didn't want to tackle the stairs so they had to open up a special elevator for her.

Madonna dragged Lourdes to yet another Kabbalah meeting in New York. We wonder what Lourdes' father Carlos Leon thinks of Kabbalah. Madonna's red string bracelet is supposed to ward off bad spirits, so we're guessing that Madonna thinks the A-Rod scandal isn't so bad - it's actually brilliant publicity for her upcoming tour. Otherwise she'd throw that string in the trash.

Beset by turmoil and accusations, whose shoulder is Alex Rodriguez crying on? The guy Alex turned to is not his lawyer - he happens to be the head of Kabbalah, Michael Berg. Of course! They had dinner at Serefina Fabulous Grill in New York. We'd LOVE to know what they chatted about.

We're fascinated by Cynthia Rodriguez's choice of words when she accused Madonna of destroying her marriage to baseballer Alex Rodriguez. She never used the words affair or cheating. She did use the term "marital misconduct" which her lawyer describes as "an affair of the heart." We're thinking Madonna didn't fool around with Alex at all - what she did was WORSE. She seduced or "recruited" him into her Kabbalah cult. And Madonna's Kabbalah pal Guy Oseary helped her bring Alex into the "fold." Alex is quite a catch for the group. Cynthia did play up the fact that she is Greek orthodox and apparently wants to keep her distance from Kabbalah. Madonna didn't capture Alex's HEART, she BRAINWASHED him! Cynthia had better get her money out of that marriage before the Kabbalahs get it.

At last! Guy Ritchie has FINALLY asserted himself with his domineering wife Madonna. Reports in England say he is FINISHED with Kabbalah. Madonna has pretty much shoved the cult down his throat and many of her friends. At first Guy tried to get into it to keep Madonna happy. But he's become increasingly doubtful of the organization and it's motivations. He didn't like being publicized as a member and was suspicious of their finances. We're THRILLED that Guy has come to his senses. We hope it doesn't break up their marriage - will Madonna feel compelled to choose between her "religion" and her husband?

It's a Kabbalah scandal! World of Wonder's recent Madonna themed art show at their storefront gallery on Hollywood Boulevard was a big success BUT there were after-effects. As a tribute to Madonna, Kabbalah water was served to the art crowd. At five dollars per small bottle, it was quite an investment for the gallery. (The water is rumored to come from a Canadian bottling company that also provides familiar cheaper brands) Imagine the gallery's SHOCK when partygoers complained for days after that the water sickened them. The pricey bottles were examined and found to be way PAST their expiration date! WOW is demanding a refund. Will they get it?

Madonna turned up at the Tribeca Film Festival for the opening of her documentary "I Am Because We Are" about the plight of Malawi children. Madonna, who wrote and narrated the film, was NOT accompanied by her husband Guy Ritchie (maybe he's actually working) but she was sporting yet another red string. We're assuming the Kabbalists have nothing to do with this project simply because it's not likely to make a profit.

Madonna and her daughter Lourdes,11, DO look great at her "Raising Malawi" Kabbalah charity event in New York. It's noteworthy how cultmembers seem to support other cults, even when the tickets cost around $2000. Scientologists Tom and Katie Cruise were there along with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony and Tom's friend Brooke Shields. Kabbalists Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher and Gwyneth Paltrow mingled with everyone. Were there red string bracelets in the goody bags?

Rihanna's new haircut looks great on her (although it would drive us nuts to have hair over our eyes) and her black leather-like outfit is perfect for New York. She's in Manhattan for fashion week and so far she's involved in two charity events - one for H&M, and she's performing at Madonna's gala to raise money for her Malawi charity. The charity was founded by Madonna and the leader of her Kabbalah cult, so it does make one wonder where THAT money goes. And will there be a red string bracelet waiting in Rihanna's dressing room?

Amy Winehouse might be drugged up and out of it a lot of the time but she's still got some smarts. She noticed a girl on the street wearing a red string bracelet she liked and asked her where she got it. The girl told her it was a Kabbalah bracelet and advised her to go to a Kabbalah center and talk to a rabbi. She offered a pamphlet on the group and Amy backed away 'No thanks." She liked the bracelet but not the "spiritual" strings attached.

It's time to mourn the loss of the once cute and appealing Ashton Kutcher. (Yes, that's him in the goofy white outfit with Demi Moore.) He's apparently gone the way of Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie and been turned into a wimp by Kabbalah. It's funny how these religious cults change people - Guy Ritchie used to be the hottest, hippest director in London. His career disappeared with his Chesterfield coats. Do Madonna and Demi really like their guys better this way?

Looks like the people who run Kabbalah are out to prove that THEIR group is WAY more fun that the Scientologists. Madonna and Guy Ritchie were among the top level Kabbalists who attended a religious costume party at the Kabbalah center in Los Angeles. Madonna dressed up as a 1920's "It" girl and Guy disguised himself as a 1970's cop with mirror sunglasses and a mustache. Guy was a good sport although it's rumored that he is not as enamored of Kabbalah as his wife is. And probably not thrilled that she hands over millions of dollars to them. Still, you don't see Tom Cruise and Katie having the fun the Ritchies have.
