She doesn't particularly want him wandering off to play in poker tournaments or weekending in Las Vegas. So she's decided to indulge Ben's hobby by turning a spare room in their new Brentwood home (still under construction) into a playroom for Ben and his buddies. Ben's new poker room will resemble the casino at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. Soon Ben won't have to fly to Las Vegas to play poker- he can just walk downstairs.

Orso is the perfect place to have lunch before a visit to Cedars Sinai for a doctor's appointment- maybe that's why you see a lot of pregnant women there. Jennifer Garner is still very friendly with her Alias costar Victor Garber and he was her companion for lunch and the hospital visit. It's nice to see that they stay in touch.

Summer's here! Time to stock up on toys for the pool. Jennifer Garner and Violet visited the CVS pharmacy in Brentwood and picked up some colorful playthings. Sweet.
Crazy Gary Busey gave us the best red carpet moment when he interrupted Ryan Seacrest as he was interviewing Jennifer Garner and grabbed her in a bear hug. She looked terrified, as did Seacrest, and Ryan whispered to Jen "Where's Ben when you need him?" Clearly shaken, Jen scurried away. If you're wondering how Gary happened to BE on the red carpet - don't forget he was nominated for an Oscar for The Buddy Holly Story - long before he had that helmetless motorcycle accident. Our Gary source told us that to expect loud scenes at parties tonight if Gary is not allowed inside.

Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner are livening up the streets of Boston where they're filming "The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past." It's sort of a Christmas Carol takeoff - about a guy attending his younger brother's wedding who hallucinates that he is being "visited' by ex girlfriends from past decades. In the decade above, Matthew has long hippie hair that he seemed to really enjoy. He reportedly delighted in flipping and tossing it. Matthew was happy with everything but his ride - he arrived to the set in a Lincoln MKX but left in a Cadillac Escalade.

When the sun comes out in the winter in New York, mothers hustle their babies to the park for some fresh air. It was a Felicity reunion when Jennifer Garner and her little girl Violet ran into Keri Russell and her baby boy River on the street. (Remember, Jennifer met her first husband Scott Foley on the set of Felicity.) Keri's moving to a brownstone in Brooklyn soon, they had a lot to catch up on.
We doubt that Violet Affleck will be sitting on a therapist's couch in twenty years, blaming her parents for her screwed up life. This photo tells it all. Obviously Violet is the center of Ben and Jennifer's universe. Look at their faces and you can see the kind of adoration and delight that we'd all like to have had from our parents. Isn't she a lucky little girl.
