Mary Kate Olsen seems to be getting celebrity treatment when it comes to the Heath ledger investigation. According to the NY Post, the NYPD talked to everyone connected to Heath's death except her, but the US Drug Enforcement Administration wants her cooperation. They're determined to find out where Heath got his Oxycontin. Prescription bottles for Heath's other drugs were found on the scene, but where he got the fatal Oxycontin remains a mystery. Was it a dealer? If the bottle was removed from the scene, who took it? Mary Kate seems to have answers, but her lawyer says she won't talk without IMMUNITY. Is anybody surprised?
Another Christian Bale theory has appeared that MIGHT explain his temperamental behavior. How do we put this delicately? It's common knowledge that Christian and Heath Ledger were close friends. They were both "intense" actors and seemed to have a lot in common. Both complained of insomnia and had mood swings. Is it possible that they had prescription medications in common also? Mothers HAVE been known to be highly critical of these things. Heath Ledger's drug problems separated him from HIS family - that's all we're going to say. Just thinking out loud.
Photo Credit: Splash NewsChristian Bale looks like a time bomb ready to explode. He's had this stern, controlled look on his face since The Dark Knight opened and the spectacular boxoffice results did NOTHING to change it! The fact that his mother and sister charged him with some sort of abuse in London deepens the mystery. They certainly didn't show up at his premier. We think Christian is sick and tired of fans asking him for autographs and talking incessantly about scene stealing Heath Ledger. If anyone asks Bale one more time "What was it like to work with Heath?" he's going to GO POSTAL! We just hope cameras are there.

You will probably end up standing in line to see The Dark Knight this weekend and we strongly suggest you do it at an Imax theater. The visual scope of the film is surely one of the most enjoyable parts, so see it the way it was meant to be seen. While we were enthralled by Heath Ledger's creative performance, we had to feel sorry for Christian Bale who starred as Batman. HE is The Dark Knight, after all. Bale is an excellent actor who is being completely ignored while the world concentrates on the late Heath Ledger. Reporters actually have had the gall to insult Bale's intelligence by asking if he felt the so-called "dark role" contributed to Ledger's untimely demise. We have to admire Bale's self control - he was more polite than we would have been. It's a movie based on a COMIC BOOK! Heath wrapped the movie knowing he did an amazing job of acting - he must have been walking on air. What happened later was not related. On a lighter note - we loved the Joker's wardrobe and have a new appreciation for the combo of purple and olive green.

New York cops are NO Longer planning to question Mary-Kate Olsen about her involvement in the death of Heath Ledger and we think this is why: Mary Kate's gaggle of high priced lawyers started emailing threatening messages to newspapers covering the tragedy shortly after Heath was found dead. Her lawyer threatened that if any reporter were to write anything false or defamatory about Mary-Kate in connection with Heath Ledger's death - that the reporter and the newspaper would be sued. It raises the question, were the police pressured by her legal pit bulls the same way? We may never know what happened in those nine minutes between the unlicensed masseuse's first peculiar call to Mary-Kate and the arrival of paramedics. There must be a lot Mary-Kate doesn't want us to know.

We have some burning questions about the untimely demise of Heath Ledger and the New York police don't seem to be interested in asking them. For example, we now know that Diane the unlicensed masseuse who found Heath's body, called Mary Kate Olsen FOUR times before calling 911. (At first she told police she made TWO calls) But there's no explanation as to HOW Diane happened to be acquainted with Mary-Kate and how did she choose to call HER out of all the people in Heath's phone. What did these three people have in common? Certainly Heath and Mary-Kate might have been more than friends, but where does Diane fit in? We wonder if Mary-Kate instructed Diane to "tidy up" before paramedics arrived. These un-asked questions are driving us crazy.

CNN should be ashamed of it's coverage of the Heath Ledger tragedy. In the hours after his death became known, CNN had continuous live coverage and there were few facts revealed at that time so their TV personality filled the air space by chattering endlessly and aimlessly about suicide and depression. The brunette news person had come up with a dumb theory that Heath had become so disturbed and distressed playing his dark Joker character that he took his own life in despair! An INSULT to the memory of the intelligent actor and the people who loved him - and an insult to viewers! The woman proposed her absurd theory over and over to several "guest experts" who scoffed and reminded her that Heath was a professional actor who knew the difference between movies and real life. The CNN woman's brainless speculation was enough to send viewers by the droves to TMZ.

Heath Ledger was found dead in his bed in New York today and everyone who knows him is thinking about drugs. Rumor has it the Brokeback Mountain star has been a slave to heroin for a few years. He played a very convincing heroin abuser in the movie Candy(above) and was linked with his beautiful costar Abbie Cornish - that's what supposedly broke up his relationship with the mother of his child Michelle Williams. But we heard that Michelle pulled the plug on their romance, more than anything, because of his drug use. It's a tragic story.
Here's a little known fact: Did you ever notice that easygoing Brokeback Mountain stud Heath Ledger - who seems so perfect- has a speech impediment? That's right. When the Oscar nominated Aussie actor is under pressure he starts to stutter. If he's excited or nervous it becomes even more noticeable. He's learned to cope with it. People who've worked with him say that while he's filming movies, he often has to repeat his lines over and over until they 're delivered without a hitch.
