We have to give Victoria credit for having a lot of courage - most women are terrified of getting their hair cut short. There's nothing left to hide behind. Halle Berry and some family members went shopping at Cross Creek Shopping Center in Malibu and if she had ONLY brought her new baby - it would have been a momentous occasion. There would have been FOUR generations of her family all shopping together! Halle's mother is wearing white in the picture and her grandmother is wearing peach.
Bristol Farms food emporium in Beverly Hills attracts a fair share of celebrities and employees there have definite opinions about their famous customers. Among their favorite shoppers are Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry, and Jessica Alba and Cash Warren - they're always friendly and polite. By far, the LEAST popular celebrity who shops the store is Heidi Klum. She is stunning to look at, but demanding and rude to the staff. Sources say Heidi butts to the front of lines and browbeats the clerks trying to help her. Yes, beautiful Heidi is described as "pushy and unpleasant." But here's a surprise: the clerks' absolute FAVORITE celebrities are Kimora Lee Simmons and her boyfriend Djimon Hounsou!

We were SO relieved to catch Halle Berry shopping at Bristol Farms with her baby-daddy Gabriel Aubry. We were really afraid they'd split up for good because it seems like ages since we've seen them together. Not that Halle couldn't carry on without him. It's just nice to see that they're still close.
Halle Berry's offspring will certainly start out as one of the luckiest babies in the world. First of all, the kid has gorgeous parents - dad's a Versace model and mom's a movie star. To top it off, Halle has asked Oprah Winfrey be the baby's godmother and she said YES. Can you imagine what it will be like at Christmas and birthdays for this child? Oprah is famous for her generosity and we're betting this kid will need a gigantic toy box.
We heartily approve of pregnant Halle Berry's tasteful fashion - it's a relief not to see skin tight dresses with a big tummy. And we also approve of her new movie "Things We Lost In The Fire" with the always brilliant Benicio Del Toro. It's an intelligent character study and the acting is superb across the board. It IS sad, so we wouldn't recommend that Ellen Degeneres see it this weekend. An especially nice feature of the movie is the interracial marriage that is completely matter-of-fact -it is never an issue. Halle can be really proud of this one.

Halle Berry visited a sick friend at UCLA medical center and she brought a gift as well as a bodyguard. But it seems odd that ever since she announced she was pregnant, she's been out and about a lot, but we haven't seen her with her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. And she doesn't look particularly happy without him. What's up with that?
Robin Thicke drew a celebrity heavy crowd at the House of Blues last night. Halle Berry came with her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and her mother. Britney Spears was expected to show up but she didn't for a change. Wilmer Valderrama was digging the music. Bobby Brown was reportedly by himself and "out of his mind" (too many drinks?) and "dancing around and acting stupid." The audience really got their money's worth - 50 Cent surprised everyone when he jumped onstage and performed with Thicke.

Halle Berry watchers might be interested to know that she ate at Barefoot on 3rd (with her shoes on) TWICE last week. Both times it looked like business meetings. Here she is leaving, and as you can see there is STILL no evidence of a baby bump- not even a dessert bump.

Before she left, she picked up the portfolio of lavish wedding cakes and started asking all kinds of questions, including "How far ahead of time do I need to place an order? And get this, she was flashing a large diamond ring on her engagement finger! She's been dating that hot Canadian model Gabriel Aubry for awhile now. We figured SOMETHING might happen over the holidays, but no news yet. We know Halle wants a baby and a husband - which will she get first?
