The girls have plenty to gossip about - Kabbalah, the A-Rod scandal, what Madonna's wearing on tour, etc. They met up for a power walk in the Hamptons and took Gwyneth's daughter Apple and Madonna's little boy David for a ride. Both kids should be walking on their own, but Madonna wants to work her arm muscles.
Chris Martin was his usual unsociable self when he and Gwyneth arrived at LAX after an overseas flight this week. The paparazzi followed them through customs and he became more and more irritable. Finally one malevolent photographer sneered to the uncooperative Coldplay singer "Hey Chris, how does it feel getting Brad's sloppy seconds?" (Referring to the fact that Gwyneth dated Brad Pitt before she married Chris) Chris LUNGED at the guy and security had to grab him to keep him from throttling the rude snapper. Chris ought to learn to ignore these comments - a violent reaction provides better photos.
Men may drive fast cars but it's the women who take all the chances in the world of celebrities these days. Gwyneth Paltrow was photographed in Paris wearing these extraordinary shoes. They're deliciously stylish and maybe eight inches tall. Gwyneth is no fool - note that like Mariah Carey, she has a minder holding her up and helping her keep her balance at all times. A mother of two should NOT fall in her absurdly high shoes and break a leg.

Madonna is putting Gwyneth Paltrow through her paces in the UK - she's teaching Gwyneth how she disciplines herself every day in the gym. They've been friends for years and Madonna credits herself with helping Gwyneth give up smoking. Gwyneth smoked two packs a day until Madonna started pushing her to break the nasty habit.
Here's a pairing that seems unlikely, but that's probably what will make Two Lovers a good movie. Joaquin Phoenix plays an awkward Brooklyn bachelor whose parents hope he'll marry a family friend. To their dismay, he gets involved with a volatile but beautiful neighbor played by Gwyneth Paltrow. They're currently filming on the streets of Brighton Beach.
We love hearing about how "the other half "lives and in Hollywood they live pretty darn well. For example on Easter, many celebrities took their kids to an Easter egg hunt - not like the ones WE are used to- this happened to be at the Malibu mansion of mogul Ron Meyer. The pampered children of people like Gwyneth Paltrow, Tobey Maguire, Robert De Niro etc had quite an Easter Sunday. Kids were treated to "what looked like" a thousand goose size eggs hidden all over the property. Each child was given a large basket to fill up. The eggs contained "toys" like iPods, candy, and money (fifteen dollars per money egg.) The kids also had a petting zoo where they could play with bunnies, baby chicks, and miniature horses. Parents had a cocktail bar and an omelet buffet and everyone picnicked and enjoyed the ocean view. (Except for Courtney Love who sat on the grass, rocking back and forth, smoking cigarettes.) These Hollywood kids don't know how lucky they are.
