An internal investigation turned up administrative specialist LaWanda Jackson as the perp, and she's facing criminal charges for viewing a thousand patients' personal records without a legitimate reason. But as the hospital investigated further, LaWanda turned out to be the tip of the iceberg. Actually, closer to 127 nosey employees had peeked at celebrities' records - including Britney Spears'. The hospital is in a dither - they can't fire EVERYONE! Layoffs and penalties are in the works.

This sort of stuff between hospitial blabbermouths and boilds have been going on for decades but the shitz will REALLY hit the fan when workers from H'wood Aids clinics start blabbing ...it's said many celebs are HIV poz/Aids including Jenna Jamison, Britney and Collin Farrell.
Add Jean Claude Van Damme and the Houston rapper Scarface to the "house in Virgina" list.
I have worked in a hospital in my town for 20 years, practically everyone does this, and the health system I am at knows it and only punishes people when it becomes public or if it is a VIP. Even tho canandaigua is not hollywood, there are well known locals and local officials everywhere and people here snoop.

Yep, 'tis true....human nature being what it is, and the daily grind wearing on the nerves, snooping is a diversion running rampant in hospitals and businesses. And if you can sell a health crisis scoop of a celeb to a rag mag, well....humans have inquiring minds you know.

These people are saving your f'ing lives, Farrah, Britney, etc. They make nothing. If you aren't going to pay them, the system will. It's called The Free Enterprise System. Live with it. It caters to whores like you.

Nosey or not.. this unlawful act cost them a career and gave them a bad employee reputation to take to their next job.
