You don't see many women who look like this walking down Robertson Blvd. Dita Von Teese has created a style all her own and she never seems to deviate, no matter how much effort it takes. We keep wondering what her next boyfriend will be like - she's been divorced from Marilyn Manson for quite awhile and has had no lasting relationships. Does anyone know who this guy is?

The Vintage Fashion Expo at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium is the place to be this weekend. The event always attracts well known designers like Marc Jacobs and Betsey Johnson seeking inspiration, plus plenty of celebrities who love vintage clothing through the decades. Marilyn Manson met his future - now exwife - Dita Von Teese at this show. It's a great big beautiful room loaded with nostalgia and amazing wearable stuff you'll never see at a mall. (Hint: Halloween costumes!) You never know who might be ogling vintage watches next to you - could be an Olsen twin or Jason Schwartzman.

Jean Paul is still a brilliant innovator and he knows an inspiring female when he sees one. Dita Von Teese, who has her own lingerie line for Wonderbra, is looking VERY Joan Crawford-ish in this photo. It's those squarish bangs and pronounced eyebrows that remind us of Mildred Pierce. Dita never disappoints.
Dita Von Teese is a natural blonde who dyes her hair black. She looks like she was BORN a smokey brunette. In this new Wonderbra video you can see what she might have looked like as a blonde.
If Dita Von Teese can't put the Wonderbra company back on top, no one can. Her super sexy vintage inspired lingerie collection is reminiscent of the pinup girls of the 40's and 50'- bras, panties and garter belts. Along with the classic styles comes modern innovation - many items feature magnetic clasps for quick release - no more fumbling with hooks and eyes!

When you invite the exquisite Dita Von Teese to a party or event, you get more than your money's worth. Every public appearance counts for her and Dita dresses lavishly and appropriately. It's a huge compliment to the host. She makes any event seem more important just because she dresses up for it. No sloppy jeans or flip flops or baseball caps for her. And she's always friendly and smiles and poses for the cameras. Dita is one of a kind.
Dita Von Teese must bring an amazing number of trunks full of clothes and accessories when she attends events like the Cannes Film Festival. You never see her in anything twice. It looks like she got a dinner date with an unidentified French guy and he even gave her a rose! They look a little shy because the paparazzi caught them. It'll be interesting to see who her next boyfriend is after being married to Marilyn Manson.

She's completely dolled up in 50's vintage - a jaunty straw hat and a tropical sundress, appropriately accessorized with a cherry necklace and bangle bracelets. Perfect hair and makeup in spite of the HOT and sweaty conditions - how DOES she do it?

Entourage star Jeremy Piven looks like a cute New York guy here in Soho - we wonder if Dita Von Teese thinks so. Remember, he admitted he has a crush on her but we don't know if he's had the nerve to act on it yet. Apparently he saw her show and went backstage where he was tongue tied and shy. Maybe he's better on the phone.
Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese must be the hottest property in the fashion business. She seems to be spokesperson for a LOT of products. Latest of her acquisitions is a deal with Wonderbra. The Wonderbra was the rage of the early 90's - they were so ubiquitous that people used to joke that landfills were piled high with Wonderbras and Evian bottles. The company wants to boost their image again so they hired Dita to design some retro-inspired lingerie and she'll be introducing her collection in Paris next month.

Dita Von Teese has to be the most glamorous celebrity around today, but on New Year's Eve she loves to let her hair down. No fancy stuffy parties for her - she told the LA Times she likes to "get wild." Last year she invited her friends over to her new house in Hollywood and she went out and bought $500 worth of Marie Callender's cream pies - coconut cream, lemon meringue, etc. Every guest was given big trash bags and told to create an outfit out of them. Champagne flowed as they had a trashbag runway fashion show (we're guessing she has lots of gay friends) accompanied by their favorite songs. At the end everyone took a pie in the face from their best friend and it became a wild free-for-all. A lot of guests told Dita it was the best party they'd ever been to. Dita said she still found traces of pie in obscure corners of her house months later.

We never would have guessed that Dita Von Teese's fashion inspiration was Madonna! Dita describes Madonna as "the only modern star daring enough to experiment in fashion." When Dita was a young girl she fell in love with the glamour and elegance of the 30's and 40's. She credits Madonna with making her realize that she didn't HAVE to be a blonde beach bunny or a Playboy model. Madonna gave Dita the courage to achieve her distinctive retro look and she's showing it off here at Crimson night club.
What do Kylie Minogue and Dita Von Teese have in common? Dior, of course. They both turned up for the Dior fashion show in New York. These two are quite the opposite fashion-wise. Kylie's a modern singer with disco overtones, while Dita the burlesque dancer maintains a classic old style glamour. Dita knows what looks great on her - this is an amazing color- if she weren't an entertainer she'd probably be a fierce designer or stylist.
There is much talk about the fact that Marilyn Manson's bloody new vampire video, which will probably not be released in the US, makes unpleasant references to his failed marriage. Beside the fact that Marilyn and his new teenage girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood, cavort in a duplicate of the bed he shared with wife Dita Von Teese, Marilyn shoots a lookalike Dita in the face. The video is a cruel blow for innocent Dita, but there is some justice. Since Dita is the pride and joy of many top European designers, they side with HER in this bustup and no longer roll out the red carpet for Marilyn. In other words, the freebies are drying up. Marilyn faces paying RETAIL like the rest of us! Horrors.
Marilyn Manson and his girl-toy Evan Rachel Wood (sporting Lolita heart shaped glasses) spent an afternoon at UK's horror theme park London Dungeons. The park features rides based on executions and historical murders plus live actors recreating history's most gruesome events - plagues etc. Manson, who has described the almost 20 years younger Wood as his "twin" was especially fond of the Boat Ride to Hell.
Meanwhile Manson's exwife (is it final yet?) Dita Von Teese is in Las Vegas wowing the audience at the MGM Grand in the Crazy Horse Paris show. Here she reveals that she is definitely NOT Manson's twin.
We still can't get over the Dita Von Teese- Marilyn Manson divorce. We thought they were the perfect Hollywood couple. Whatever Marilyn did or did not do to cause Dita to file (SHE doesn't talk about it) - we predict he'll live to regret it. Friends of the once-happy pair say that Dita is not only a glamour girl of the first order, but a HOUSEWIFE too! "She's a homebody - she cooks like a dream, cleans and keeps house - and she does it all in stiletto heels!" We also hear that Dita is taking the high road- she doesn't want Marilyn's money - she has her own (MAC cosmetics takes very good care of her, thank you very much!) Currently Dita is working in Europe, and we bet Marilyn is missing those home-cooked meals and black seamed stockings!
We've never seen an S&M cowgirl so we appreciate Dita Von Teese's originality. She's our favorite burlesque dancer and now she's grooving to the tune of MAC. We can't imagine a better spokesperson for the cosmetic line (her makeup is ALWAYS immaculate) but we can't take out eyes off her INCREDIBLY tiny cinched waist!
