When British Sally was a young actress she made a movie with Telly, and they fell in love and had a son Nicholas (who used to date Tori Spelling.) Sally was an exceptionally beautiful actress and passed her genes on to Nicollette. Mother and daughter have always been very close. What must mom have thought when she saw Nicollette cuddling up with David Spade at the party? CORRECTION!: Nicollette introduced this woman to the photographer as her "mother" but she is, in fact, Michelle Phillips. According to an astute reader, Michelle played her mother on "Knots Landing" years ago. We will hunt for a photo of the real Sally Sheridan!

He was alone and paid admission for one movie and saw two. We noticed him leave a theater and instead of walking out, he wandered into the theater playing "Nick & Norah's >Infinite Playlist."

David Spade obviously dresses up a lot more when he's in New York than he does in LA. Here he is leaving The Waverly Inn wearing what passes for black tie - it does make him look authoritative. He also looks well fed.

Here's David Spade leaving Koi with yet ANOTHER beautiful sexy girl. (Anybody out there know who she is?) He stays low-key, but consistently scores with really attractive women. Dave's not exactly tall dark and handsome, but he knows what a powerful aphrodisiac humor can be.
Added note: An Australian reader has just identified David's date as Nicky Whelan , an actress on the Australian series Neighbors!
We give credit where credit is due. David Spade attended the Kitson fund-raiser and instead of mooching around for a gift bag or freebies like SOME actors do, he spent his OWN money and purchased a fund-raising Omnipeace T shirt. Keep in mind it's not all that often that a celebrity voluntarily forks over some cash.

We can't help but comment on the fact that David Spade is starting to look a bit pudgy - especially in the caboose- in all the recent photos we've seen of him. Female actors are tortured about their weight all the time but a male actor usually has to gain about a hundred pounds before anyone pays attention. David has always been super skinny so it's a novelty for him to look heftier. Maybe Heather Locklear is a bad iinfluence - she's always said she can eat ANYTHING and never gain a pound and David might be trying to keep up with her.
Sometimes we can't RESIST correcting misdemeanors. The September 18 issue of a popular celebrity weekly claimed that Heather Locklear bought David Spade a gym membership at Sports Club LA in Beverly Hills. The story went on to detail that "David is putting himself through hell to get in shape for his girlfriend Heather" and that he "had hardly ever seen the inside of a gym until she bought him the membership. " Beside the fact that David and Heather had split up long before he was seen at the gym "dripping in sweat for Heather," David has been working out in various local gyms for YEARS. Since the Sports Club LA opened last year he's been seen there nearly EVERY DAY on the treadmill - sometimes watching the E! channel. He worked out (and flirted with girls in the gym) long before he dated Heather and he still does. Where DO they get those stories?
Is David Spade quietly juggling yet ANOTHER bereft divorcee? He likes to step in and console vulnerable women who've suddenly become single. Clever Spade makes em laugh - and we all know that's the best medicine! It worked for Heather Locklear, didn't it? What Heather doesn't know is that Dave seems to have turned his attention to the newly vulnerable Carmen Electra. Apparently Dave Navarro wasn't that funny. Last week Dave and Carmen were seen having an animated conversation, driving together near the Beverly Center in his black Mercedes. The pocket size romeo was also seen with an unidentified woman fitting Carmen's description, ducking out of one of his favorite hangouts - the Grove movie theater. Last night at the Teen Choice Awards they sat together and "looked absolutely giddy." Need we say more?
