Michael Jackson has given up his early attempts to look like Diana Ross, and he has an new inspiration. We think he's trying to look like Courteney Cox! That's certainly a Monica Geller wig if there ever was one. Looks cute on him.

London's Daily Mail featured this photo of celebrities having fun in Hawaii. There was an abundance of actors vacationing at the same time and they got together and rented a boat for a day. Sacha Baron Cohen is up front in the black shirt and white shorts, and you can see who the others are. Apparently Leo delighted in launching himself off the back of the boat and Tobey Maguire had a long conversation with Sacha.

You couldn't wish for a better godmother than Jennifer Aniston. Jen is godmother to Courtney Cox and David Arquette's three year old little girl Coco. Jen knows her best friend Courteney loves mid century modern homes and décor so she splurged on a gift for Coco. Jen completely redid Coco's room in mid-century modern with child size versions of classic Knoll furniture like Eero Saarinen's womb chair and Van Der Rohe's leather Barcelona chair along with a Knoll credenza. She added a rug, lamps - and everything was 2/3 the size of adult furniture.

David Arquette is carrying Courteney Cox Arquette's handbag, AND he's dressed like an undertaker. A few years ago he would have been wearing a bright plaid suit - something funky and fun. Maybe he's just grown up a lot, but we miss that zany guy.

It's ABOUT time! The female stars of Friends are always having get-togethers - especially at Il Sole. But it seems like Lisa Kudrow is never included - it's just Jen and Courteney all the time. So it's really nice to see Lisa out with Courteney, catching up on all the news. We like to think the girls from the show really ARE friends. Note that Courteney is taking half of her food home. We think Lisa looks pretty, but was better dressed when she was on the show- she looks a little "momish" here.

Here's David Arquette out on his own. His wife Courteney Cox has been noticed having some fun nights out without her husband also. It seems Courteney hit it off with her team of guys in her production company and they like to go bowling, to movies, and even strip clubs together. Courteney's girlfriends Jennifer Aniston and Sheryl Crowe are a little puzzled by the idea of their married friend Courteney frequently running around with single straight guys. So far, David's not complaining - he wants his wife to have her freedom and he trusts her.

Here's a twist. Courteney Cox's husband David Arquette loves to shop and SHE doesn't! David never gets tired of exploring vintage stores, collectible shops, clothing stores, even upscale designer shops in Beverly Hills. And David gets a kick out of acting like a personal shopper for his wife. He buys her a lot of clothing and accessories and she almost always likes them, in spite of his occasionally flamboyant taste. Recently he REALLY surprised her with a simple classic Chanel handbag. It's black quilted lambskin with a gold chain handle and cost $2,150.00. Very Nancy Reagan.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette hosted a fund-raiser at Kitson to raise money for the charity Omnipeace with the ambitious goal of ending poverty in Africa. The T-shirts they're wearing are being sold (not given away - even to celebrities) at Kitson for $65 and half the profits go to the charity. So if you see any famous people walking around wearing the Omnipeace shirts you know they actually PAID for them and have a social conscience!

For a long time we've been trying to figure out why best friends Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston are both crazy about the Il Sole restaurant on Sunset Strip. Granted, the place has yummy Italian food, but it's really far from their Malibu homes AND it's become a paparrazzi hangout. Yet these weight conscious friends both eat there constantly. Here's why: It turns out the restaurant caters to diet and health conscious customers. Both Courteney and Jen bring their own whole wheat pasta and STORE it at the restaurant. When the girls dine there they can have their special pasta (which isn't on the menu) with sauce with reduced oil or whatever they want. So THAT'S what keeps them coming back!

David does look uncomfortable in that conservative blue business suit and necktie - could that be Courtney's idea? We like him better in those plaid wacky outfits he used to wear. He looked happier.

Sorry, Courteney, we think you missed the boat when it comes to your new series Dirt. You have a lot to learn about tabloid journalism and celebrity weeklies. Your fatal error was making the show a dreadful melodrama / soap opera. Take it from an expert, there is nothing more FUN than celebrity gossip! The crazy, nervy things that hapless reporters have to do to get a scoop are fascinating. (For your information, editors are NOT seen at premiers or nightclubs trolling for news.) And celebrities' outrageous behavior is ALWAYS hugely entertaining. Yes, the photographers are a bunch of eccentric characters who delight in outsmarting each other. Tipsters are often actors who want to make their competition look bad. And don't forget those power hungry publicists. It's a crazy exciting world that changes every day, but it's always good for a LAUGH. And THAT'S what Dirt lacks.
