Photo Credit: Splash NewsBefore he left Dublin to promote "Pride and Glory" around the world, Colin Farrell got stopped by police for talking on his cell phone while driving. It's illegal in Dublin. The cops were not the least bit star struck when they realized who he was. He was charged not only with the cellphone violation, but also for not wearing a seatbelt! Later Colin was heard telling friend about the incident and expressing his amazement that they didn't let him off with just a warning.

Janet, this story sounds a little far fetched. I think your gossip sources have thrown you for a loop.
he's so gorgoeus, a great actor he has a movie called pride and glory it's really good go see it if you haven't yet.
somehow i can't believe the story who would give this hunk of a guy ticket, don't think so.

Its actually true. It happened months ago. And I say (even tho I love Colin) good on the cops! He should have known better! A car is a lethal weapon!

Knowing the Gardai in Ireland, I'm stunned they actually pulled over anyone...I've never seen anyone stopped by one! But yeah, here they would delight in giving him a ticket. The Irish pride themselves on treating celebs the same as other folk and leave them to their business.

colin farrell is a very sexy guy but when wearing a hat with long hair should have a ponytail and no hats with his hair down. he's a great actor, has movie called pride and glory it's the best movie of the year go see if you haven't seen it yet.
