Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone is thrilled with the success of his book "Life with my Sister Madonna" but a little disappointed that some passages were blocked by lawyers. So he's sharing these tidbits on his newly established blog. Here's a Madonna anecdote from 1971 (she was 13) he couldn't print- it's about Madonna and her ill-concealed dislike of her stepmother Joan: "Joan is in bed with our father and the door is closed. Madonna and her friends are having a sleepover in the hallway. Without even knocking on the door, Madonna walks in and Joan is on top of my dad like a wrestler. Madonna pretends to be "shocked" at, um, walking in on them. The girls in the hallway are laughing like crazy and suddenly, Joan and my father stop in the middle, look out into the audience, and are very embarrassed. Madonna plays it off like she didn't know what they were doing. She would later get in huge trouble, but my parents were nice about not punishing her in front of friends."

Bits and pieces of Christoper Ciccone's book "Life with My Sister Madonna " are leaking out, and it's not as shocking as we hoped. Christopher admits that when her husband Guy Ritchie came into Madonna's life, it was the death knell for Chris's relationship with his sister. He describes Guy as a "man's man" who isn't bothered by homophobic humor. In other words he laughs at gay jokes. Not a good thing, but so far that's the worst thing he's said about Guy. He also thinks they won't divorce because they are committed to staying married. Let's hope the book is juicier than the leaks.

Newsflash! We've got an update on the Madonna book written by her brother Christopher. We're hearing that the book doesn't really say awful things about Madonna - we already KNOW most of the awful things about her. But Christopher DOES have some startling revelations about Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie! Christopher and his brother-in-law Guy never got along, and Chris will tell us WHY. Needless to say, Madonna doesn't want her husband's rep - what's left of it- further diminished.

Christopher Ciccone's book "Life With My Sister Madonna" is coming out July 15 and we can hardly to get our hands on it! Chris was Madonna's constant companion for the most tempestuous years of her career and private life. (See 80's photos above: The top one is amazing. Chris is on the bottom left.) As Madonna got more and more homes, she hired Chris to decorate. Madonna's husbands and boyfriends DID have a problem with Chris and his hard-partying gay friends. As we recall, he became very full of himself and eventually turned on his sister. Certainly he had a drug problem. But he was THERE for her most interesting years and experiences and we know that his scandal-loving cowriter Wendy Leigh has squeezed every lurid detail out of him. Chris certainly hasn't aged as well as his self disciplined sister.
