It's officially OVER for Cher and her former Hell's Angel boyfriend Tim >Medvetz. On paper they SEEMED like a cool couple - he's 6'6, 220 pounds and both have a penchant for black leather. Tim was described as "a real man who smokes Camels and drinks Jack Daniel's." Apparently he wasn't all that attentive when she was performing in Las Vegas and he didn't like waiting around backstage. He took off on a long road trip out of the country and that was that. When The Enquirer wrote that they were "getting married," it probably freaked both of them out.

Back in 2001, she put it up for sale for 25 million and that was when the real estate market was very strong. She couldn't sell it, so she removed all her dark and gothic decor and auctioned off the furniture. She redid the place in beachy, neutral colors and insisted she intended to keep it. The house, built to her specifications in 1992, has six bedrooms in 14,000 sq ft, with beach views. Now it's back on the market and it's been marked UP to 45 million! While everyone is lowering prices, Cher almost doubled her price!
Well, a FORMER Hell's Angel, but what a great surprise - to hear that Cher is still falling for bikers! Leather guys on motorcycles have always been her weakness (business suits repel her) and now she has a burly boyfriend who's 6'6" and 220 pounds! He's Tim Medvetz, 38, and he customizes Harleys in Hollywood and also happened to climb Mount Everest. Cher's friend Richard Stark who owns Chrome Hearts, introduced them and they both have a preference for black leather and silver gothic jewelry. Tim is described as a real man who "smokes Camels and drinks Jack Daniels and eats greasy fried chicken." On June 13, Cher and Tim were at the Foxtail Lounge with a group including Stark, but nobody realized they were a couple. The National Enquirer is already predicting marriage, but we think they're jumping the gun. Still, we're happy for Cher.

Cher surprised us with her voluminous copper colored wig at the Grammys- she's probably not as skinny as she'd like to be and that's why the hair was so big. Even more surprising was her voluptuous goth silver taffeta tiered skirt and chain mail distressed top from 80's designer Michael Schmidt. It wasn't her greatest fashion moment, but you have to admit she looked more like a rockstar than most of the people at the Grammys. We just wish she had sung the duet with Tina Turner instead of Beyonce.

We have to admit we are very relieved to hear that Cher plans to fulfill her obligation to Caesars Palace and share the stage with Bette Midler starting in May. First we heard that Cher was having special treatments for "tummy troubles." Then we heard the unsettling news that a source had bumped into Cher in the waiting room at the UCLA Medical Center in the outpatient treatment center for cancer patients having chemotherapy. Supposedly, Cher was seen there twice with a bodyguard by her side. Since she's gearing up to perform in May, we figure Cher was there not for treatment herself, but waiting for someone- maybe even Farrah Fawcett. And the show WILL go on in Las Vegas!

Cher is making another comeback - this time on reality TV! We're hearing that she and her daughter Chastity are pitching a show called "Coming Out with Cher and Chas" to the networks that will feature them in their everyday lives. Certainly there will be a few tiffs about Chastity's weight. On the show they'll counsel young people who are afraid to tell their parents they're gay. They're both experienced in this area because when teenage Chas, now 38, revealed to her mother that she was gay, Cher freaked and tried to send her to a psychiatrist. It sounds like loads of fun to us, and we predict a bidding war.
Cher (seen above visiting an injured soldier in Bethesda) is cuckoo about coconuts. She fell in love with a line of creamy coconut scented products called "Burn" that Fred Segal makes in-house and sells. She buys the Burn bodywash, all the skin lotions, the soap and the candles. Recently she learned that Fred Segal was planning to discontinue the fragrance she loves. Cher called the owner and begged him NOT to drop her favorite scent. She ordered $6000 of the coconut products in advance to make it worthwhile, and she got her way.
Cher seems to be getting in shape for her next Las Vegas show and she looks great, but we're struck by her resemblence to sex video star Kim Kardashian. She could be Kim's older sister! We really love Cher, but we may never get used to those lips.

We came across these photos and realized they are significant because, besides being fun to look at, both of Cher's outfits were auctioned off last year for a lot of money. Remember, in those days Liberace was NOT gay and everyone seemed to believe the rumors that Cher had ribs removed to make her waist smaller. (She didn't .)
The highly flattering family portrait by Leroy Nieman that makes Sonny look like a Marlboro Man sold for $40,000. We can only hope the four guys in the front row at the auction who bought most of the costumes will find a way to put them on display in a museum or fashion institute where we can all appreciate them. We'd hate to see them end up as Halloween costumes.
