David Hasselhoff popped into Cedars- Sinai Medical Center for yet another overnight detox on February 7! According to the Enquirer, David, who is appearing on the new Knight Rider MOW, is in the habit of indulging in excessive drinking binges that land him in the emergency room with alcohol poisoning. He gets treatment and stays overnight. The next day he walks out, feeling better. Sometimes, straight to another bar! He did this hospital routine twice in 48 hours last December. The Hoff refers to these hospital mini-rehab visits as "pit stops." He also has the most aggressive lawyers in Hollywood so if this item abruptly disappears, you'll know why!
Our wish has been granted. We've been thinking about who we'd like to add to the list of particpiants on the new VH1 show Celebs in Rehab that we told you about. Joanie "Chyna Doll" Laurer, Andy Dick, Jeff Conaway, and The Real World's Puck are already lined up. We had been hoping for Daniel Baldwin - and we just heard our FAVORITE drug abuser has been recruited! Along with the pornstar who ran for governor in California, Mary Carey, and the child star Jamiee Foxworth (she played the kid sister on Family Matters) who confessed to Oprah that booze and drugs led HER to porn too. We also hear that Andy Dick may back out of doing the show.
Celebs in Rehab - what could be more fun than that? The show has already booked eight celebrities with substance problems who don't mind admitting it. Most of them have already displayed their bizarre behavior on other reality series. Committed so far are Chyna Doll (wrestler Joanie Laurer,) Andy Dick, Jeff Conaway, and Puck from The Real World. The show is set in a real rehab in Pasadena and cameras willl follow celebs as they kick whatever they're on. We can hardly wait.
