Carmen Electra learned that touring with a rock band isn't as glamorous as it seems when she attempted to go on on tour with her fiance, Korn guitarist Rob Patterson. She was startled by the LACK of first class accommodations that she's accustomed to! Korn isn't a huge band now and their traveling budget isn't enormous, which means a lot of funky motel rooms. Carmen was horrified - she joined Rob at his concert stop in New Orleans in May, but she decided to skip most of the two month tour and just fly in for occasional visits. Two months on the road was out of the question.

It's Carmen Electra arriving at Villa Lounge with her current companion, musician Rob Patterson from Korn. He inspired her to get that R tattooed behind her ear. Carmen has always had eclectic taste in men - mainly rockstars- remember, years ago, she was discovered by Prince, who changed her name from Tara Leigh Patrick to Carmen Electra.

Joan Jett and Carmen Electra keep leading us on regarding this "romance" of theirs. When Carmen announced she'd be playing Joan's lesbian lover in her video, she also added that she'd had a big crush on her since she was a young girl. Suddenly they started spending all sorts of time together and we don't know WHAT to think. Nowadays it's not politically correct to protest if you're accused of being in a gay relationship or it looks like you're insulting the gay lifestyle. Does Carmen WANT us to assume she traded in Dave Navarro for Joan Jett, or does she think it's just good publicity? Either way, they DO make an adorable couple, don't you think?
It's award show season and the tanning salons are booked solid. Skin color and gowns MUST be coordinated! Fake tans are lifesaver for pasty-faced actors who used to have to wear pancake makeup on the red carpet and they felt really foolish. Of course feeling foolish is better than taking a bad photograph. But not all celebrities frequent the fancy Beverly Hills salons like Paris Hilton. Bronzed Australian journalist Nelson Aspen gets his color at an inconspicuous no-frills strip mall salon and he always runs into celebrities in the waiting room. No surprise that Carmen Electra gets her golden glow there, but we WERE surprised to hear that Jon Lovitz and Kiefer Sutherland are regulars too. Jon thinks a tan makes him look thinner, but who would have guessed Canadian Kiefer had a touch of male vanity?
Rockers Tommy Lee and Dave Navarro are friends AND rivals. They aren't competitive when it comes to music, but when women are involved it's a different story. They both want to be top dog with the rocker chicks. When Dave Navarro and his wife Carmen Electra split up, Tommy was sympathetic - and immediately called Carmen for a date. (We hear she didn't say no) Dave was NOT happy. When Dave heard that Tommy's exwife Pamela Anderson abruptly ended her marriage to Kid Rock, he was delighted at the prospect of evening the score. He commiserated with Pam about divorce and started flirting and asking her out. Smarty pants Pam figured out what the was up to and cut him off at the pass.
Is David Spade quietly juggling yet ANOTHER bereft divorcee? He likes to step in and console vulnerable women who've suddenly become single. Clever Spade makes em laugh - and we all know that's the best medicine! It worked for Heather Locklear, didn't it? What Heather doesn't know is that Dave seems to have turned his attention to the newly vulnerable Carmen Electra. Apparently Dave Navarro wasn't that funny. Last week Dave and Carmen were seen having an animated conversation, driving together near the Beverly Center in his black Mercedes. The pocket size romeo was also seen with an unidentified woman fitting Carmen's description, ducking out of one of his favorite hangouts - the Grove movie theater. Last night at the Teen Choice Awards they sat together and "looked absolutely giddy." Need we say more?
