Ron Burkle had a birthday party for P Diddy over the weekend and some new couples formed during that warm California night. Entourage's Kevin Connolly obviously has a thing for tall blondes because he was deep in conversation with Cameron Diaz all evening. They were holding hands when they left together...

Speaking of Entourage, the pretty actress who played Kevin Connelly's girlfriend on the show, Emmanuelle Chriqui, showed up at the party with HER new boyfriend, basketball star Baron Davis. Baron has a business partnership with Jessica Alba's boyfriend Cash Warren, so they probably double date a lot.

Cameron Diaz pulled off a skillful juggling act in Las Vegas this weekend. With no boyfriends in sight, Cameron and Drew Barrymore partied at the Light club at Bellagio and had fun without ever bumping into two of Cameron's recent boyfriends who were ALSO in Vegas. Justin Timberlake was at Jet nightclub and Criss Angel was (with Britney Spears) at LAX at the Luxor . Cameron REALLY didn't feel like seeing either of them, so she pulled the right strings and navigated the weekend smoothly - there were no awkward encounters.

Looks like Cameron Diaz will rue the day she fell under the spell of magician Criss Angel. Cameron met Angel in Las Vegas where he was performing and they spent some documented time together. Little did Cameron suspect there was a private eye watching every move they made, and that he had been hired by Angel's suspicious wife back on Long Island, New York! Criss, whose real name is Chris Sarantakos, kept his wife a "secret" after he hit it big with his TV show Mindfreak and moved to Las Vegas. The angry wife Joanne plans to subpoena Cameron to testify in divorce court.

English papers are obsessed with everything about Victoria Beckham and they were tickled pink to see her at the MTV Movie Awards. Backstage she and Cameron Diaz bonded when they realized they were both wearing the same ridiculously expensive Christian Louboutin stilettos. The Brits claimed Posh was embarrassed, but we think she couldn't care less. We just hope Posh makes some American friends that aren't Scientologists. Maybe it'll be easier now that she's not doing that reality show.

It's a mystery. Photographers don't know WHAT to think because ever since Cameron Diaz split up with Justin Timberlake she has been smiling and pleasant! She's a whole new girl! When she and Justin were together she often flew off the handle and was abusive and insulting to the photographers. They always expected the worst. Justin wasn't difficult, but Cameron was VERY touchy. Now she's calm and actually seems happy. She's leaving the gym again in this picture and looks blissed out.

Cameron Diaz spent a steamy Saturday night before the Oscars with Tyrese Gibson. Observers at Hollywood after hours club Xenii say the pair looked like a romantic couple and danced together ALL NIGHT. Some very sexy maneuvers and plenty of sweat. Recently Tyrese was accused of roughing up his pregnant girlfriend but he was cleared of all accusations. But he does seem to have strings attached. In case you were wondering where Cameron Diaz was on Friday when Justin Timberlake was having his megaparty at Avalon- we just found out. She was at a private gym in West Hollywood on Nemo, working out . As we can see she's in great shape and looks happy so maybe Kelly Slater was just the diversion she needed after the traumatic bustup.

There was some VERY interesting gossip floating around one LA nightclub on New Year's Eve, but we don't know whether it's absolute fact or the booze talking. After a few cocktails, a friend of Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz remarked that "they broke up almost two weeks ago." (the last time WE saw them together was at Justin's SNL appearance two weeks ago.) Then, the so-called source dropped the REAL BOMB - he predicted that Justin would eventually hook up with Scarlett Johansson. - implying that something was already going on between them. For your information, Scarlett spent New Year's at Hyde with her girlfriends, looking bored. It's Hollywood - anything can happen.

Just who does Cameron Diaz think she's fooling when she says she is a "commitment-phobe." A commitment-phobe MAGNET is more like it! The poor girl just wants a secure and faithful relationship, but she always picks - or attracts- the wrong guys! Just ask her exboyfriends Matt Dillon and Jared Leto. Both had long relationships with Cameron but refused to settle down so she moved on. (And both are STILL vehemently single.) As readers know, we still insist that Justin Timberlake's romance with Cameron Diaz is doomed. Justin really cares for Cameron, so he tried to negotiate a clean and friendly split a few months ago. He wanted to be free to have fun on the road when his tour started in the fall. Cameron flatly refused to end their romance and convinced him to spend the summer with her. NOW we hear Cameron was absent from Justin's NY listening party at G-Spa , although she WAS on the east coast. JC Chasez's birthday party was almost an N'Sync reunion at On the Rox Sunday night and it was a blast! Only Joey Fatone was a no-show. Lance and his boyfriend Reichen couldn't have been happier. Lance kept exclaiming about his coming out " I'm so happy! I feel so free- I've been wanting to do this for SO long!" He and his boyfriend danced together all night - publicly at last.
