It's a rare sight. We love to catch a celebrity loading up on -not designer clothes- but BOOKS! And paying full price! Kate Beckinsale's stock just went up more than a few points in our opinion, because she's patronizing Book Soup on Sunset- one of the few and greatest independent bookstores still in existence.

Wow, that is newsworthy... Props, Kate!! Glad you're buying books (or giving 'em as gifts). And the independent retailers need our bucks, so that's good too. Let's hope it start a trend. (No, I don't own a bookstore, but I love libraries and all types of reading.....)
I don't care if she buys books or bricks. Few know who Kate is.
abc's -- So what's your point? We should only be allowed to read about someone who you deem newsworthy? How do you know how many people know who Kate Bekinsale is? Why don't you rent "Cold Comfort Farm".

How tall is this woman? Anybody know. I read somewhere that she's 5'8.....I have a hard time believing that since she looks really short in her pics.
