Although they've been together for years, Beyonce and Jay-Z never acknowledged that they were dating and they still haven't admitted that they are married, in spite of the license being filed with the state. This couple loves to keep secrets. Since the wedding was so hasty, everybody seems to assume it was a shotgun marriage and Beyonce is pregnant.

Somehow we can't imagine that Beyonce's long-awaited wedding to Jay-Z fulfilled her girlish dreams. A white tent on the roof of her boyfriend's apartment building with thirty people? Is that all there is?

This picture is noteworthy for two reasons- first, you don't see photos of Beyonce and Jay Z out in New York very often, for some reason. Here they are leaving The Spotted Pig. Second, - it's nice to see Beyonce not so overdone with all the hair and glitz. She looks pretty and natural.

Attention New York readers: you still have time to get in line at Macy's and meet Beyonce in person. She's set to appear on the main floor of the store on 34th Street at 12 noon Thursday for the launch of Emporio Armani Diamonds fragrance. The first 150 die-hard fans in line who purchase the Armani gift set will get to meet Beyonce and have her autograph the fragrance. Please contact this site if Prince is seen anywhere in that crowd.

Strictly professional? Or a pack of lies? We're hearing that Beyonce's boyfriend Jay-Z actually IS having a romance with his pride and joy Rihanna. Their collaboration on Umbrella resulted in a gigantic hit and fueled dormant romance rumors. Jay started off as Rhianna's mentor and he even picked out which guys she was allowed to go out with. But nowadays he's spending more time with his young discovery and less time with Beyonce. (Keep in mind he and beyonce never admitted they were an item.) And here's a real twist: We've been told that Beyonce isn't terribly upset about it because SHE has a massive crush on Prince and they are secretly seeing each other. This whole group is so secretive we may never learn the truth!

We couldn't help but laugh when we heard a comment made by Beyonce recently. Keep in mind, she lost a lot of weight to play her Diana Ross inspired character, Deena, in Dreamgirls, and she was led to believe that this would be the role that put her on the acting map and get her all sorts of recognition. But in fact, Jennifer Hudson's hefty character Effie had more drama and better songs and SHE'S getting all the awards and attention. It's been a big disappointment for Beyonce and an acquaintance tattled that in a weak moment she sighed "Sometimes I wish I had GAINED weight to play Effie instead."

Behold Beyonce' - the woman that Life & Style magazine recently proclaimed Stylemaker of the Year. We think the magazine has a LOT to learn about style, and so does Beyonce. We love her, but we sure don't aspire to dress like her.
We're going out on a limb here, but this photo looks to us like it's time for Beyonce to stand up to her mother and say "Please don't make any more dresses for me!" Not that her mother isn't a talented designer - it's just that Beyonce had graduated to the world of luxury couture and THAT is not whipped up by your mother. Especially for the premier of your first starring movie. This baby blue scallopy confection wrapped up in a big bow that Beyonce wore to the LA premier of Dreamgirls looks like it might have come from a bridal shop in downtown Los Angeles. If mom didn't make it, she should have vetoed it.
A beauty expert who visits this website brought up the interesting question: Why is Beyonce a spokesperson for L'Oreal hair care and coloring products when it's common knowledge that most of her hair is fake? Beyonce has been known to augment her hair with all types of hairpieces, wiglets and extensions. In fact, some say she wouldn't be caught dead without them. So why is L'Oreal taking credit for her glamorous look when most of the beautiful hair she's shaking in the commercial was bought and paid for? Is this what's called a gray area of advertising?
