We were amused by this photo of Keith Urban making small talk with Lauren Bacall at the premier of his wife Nicole Kidman's movie Australia - you never know who you're going to run into at a premier. (Lauren played Nicole's mother in the movie "Birth" ) Keith is looking especially good - perhaps because he's taller than usual. Take a look at those high heels on HIM, not her.

SOMEBODY'S in love with Hugh Jackman and if we didn't know better we'd guess it was "Australia" director Baz Luhrmann. This is the first movie we've seen in which the leading MAN's clothes were tighter than the leading lady's. Hugh is lovingly photographed throughout the movie and when he has a shirt on, it's SKIN TIGHT. Not to mention his pants. How a cowboy could possibly function in such attire without splitting a seam is never explained. Unfortunately, this added yet another element of artificiality to this fantasy/drama. The title "Australia" implies a historical epic of grand proportion and we were disappointed that it turned out to be just a contrived love story.

Keanu Reeves is back in Australia where he filmed his Matrix movies. This time he's in Sydney promoting his new - and highly watchable - movie Street Kings. Reporters there were relieved to note that he got new shoes since the last time he visited wearing those old beat up sneakers. Next year he's filming a remake of the 50's classic "The Day the Earth Stood Still" - he'll be starring as the alien who comes to earth - we can hardy wait.

Brandon Davis is still in Sydney, Australia with his Aussie girlfriend model Cheyenne Tozzi, and he's having such a good time he doesn't want to come home. For one thing, he's been gambling at casinos there and claims to have won $70,000. (Remember, he was detained for two hours at the airport when he arrived with TOO MUCH cash in his pocket.) Brandon also loves Australia because he's a big celebrity there - they think he's a "billionaire playboy" and there's no TMZ to write insults about him. He only planned to stay for a week but he's extended his trip several times and it's already been a month. America's loss is Australia's gain!
