America's Next Top Model made Nigel Barker famous, but it was three seasons into the show before we realized he wasn't gay. It just seemed like a given - he was so handsome and artistic and sensitive and well spoken. We were WRONG, and surprised to learn he's married to another model, Cristen Chin, and the father of Jack , with another baby on the way. So much for OUR gaydar.

Plus size model Whitney Thomson was anointed by Tyra Banks as America's Next Top Model just last night, and already we have a model photo of them together looking suspiciously svelte. (Whitney bears an uncanny resemblance to Anna Nicole Smith) There has been a lot of speculation that Whitney was Tyra's special choice because it puts Tyra squarely on the "models don't have to be stick thin" bandwagon, so popular now. Popular, but unrealistic. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen if Whitney will get modeling work that involves her body.

1997: Sandra Bullock is just plain disgusted with her boyfriend Matthew McConaughey's housekeeping habits. He shares a beachhouse in Malibu with some buddies and the place is always a pigsty! The bathroom's a nightmare and there are never any clean towels, and she has to wash a dish if she wants to eat off a plate. Sandra's sick of playing maid to his dorm lifestyle but she can't convince Matthew to spend more time at her beautiful home in the hills. He feels it's "too Hollywood!"
